CARD OF THANKS
The family of the late Noreen Hackett would like to extend heartfelt thanks and appreciation to everyone for the kindness and support shown during our recent loss. Thanks to the nurses and staff at Western Long Term Care Palliative Care for their kindness and care of Noreen during her final days. To all family and friends who comforted us during the visitation and funeral service, to everyone who sent cards, online condolences made phone calls, charitable donations sent flowers or brought food, our deepest appreciation. Your kindness will be remembered.
Noreen Anne Hackett (Nee Hall) passed away peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit (Western Long Term Care Center) on Thursday, February 11 th, 2021. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her twelve children Evelyn Gould (Ross), Paul (Martina), Molly Harwood (Brian), David (Mary), Veronica Hackett (Billy Needham), Pauline Eldridge (Roddy), Dorothy Perrett (John), Elaine Antle, Patty Hackett, Leah Hackett, Connie Hackett (Chris Hickey), Colin Hackett (Terri-Lynn). Special niece Anne Vincent, Her many grandchildren, step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her brothers Leon and Eric (Brenda); sisters: Bernice Dormondy, Eileen Koper (Steve), Rowena Talbot (Jerry). Sisters-in-law: Louise, Veronica Green and brother-in-law Ronald Green also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Noreen was predeceased by her husband Capt. Pat Hackett in 1999, Brothers Reg, Fred, Hugh, Roland, Gordon and sister Leonce. Parents Frank and Bridget Hall and sister's in-law Bridget, Frances, Dorothy, Frances Hackett (Ray), Ben and Cedella Hackett. Special thanks to home care workers Linda, Lynsietta, Geneva, Wanda, Stephanie, Bev and Serena. A special thanks to the nurses and Doctors of Palliative Care and of course to Country Haven Funeral Home for their compassion and personal care during our time of sorrow. Due to covid-19 restrictions, there will be a private family viewing at Country Haven Funeral Home on Friday, February 12 th , 2021.No funeral service to take place at this time. An interment will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or memorial donations to Our Lady Star Of The Sea Church Fund.
