It is with great sadness that the family of the late Norbert (Norm) P. McCarthy announce his passing at Corner Brook Long Term Care on Wednesday, November 17th, 2021 at the age of 88 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children; Christine (Keith), Terry (Debbie), Carolyn, Jeff and Brad (Denise). Grandchildren; Janesta, Christopher, Matthew, Adam, Zachary and Isaac as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Norbert was predeceased by his parents Francis (Frank) and Mary and by his wife Dahlia. Siblings; Eileen, Anthony, Patricia, Thomas, Philomena and Francis.  Norbert was a very hard worker and was devoted to his family. The family would like to thank Dr. Morris and the staff and administration at LTC 2 North for dad's care. Visitation will take place on Friday, November 19th from the hours of 7-9 pm with funeral service to take place at The Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church on Saturday, November 20th at 10:00 am with Father Lee Lainey officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, there are no flowers by request. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or Myeloma Canada.
