It is with great sadness that the family of the late Myrtle Park (nee. Coates) announce her passing on Thursday, March 9 ^th , 2023 at the Western Long Term Care at the grand age of 103 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her daughters: Doreen O'Neil, Brenda Cantwell (Kevin), Josephine Daye (David), Betty Ross, Edna Park (Gerald), and step-daughter, Lois Kendall; sons: Henry Park (Betty), William Park, and Llewellyn Park (Nancy); her siblings: Bonnie Squires (Overton), Josephine Coates (Harvey), and brother: Harvey Coates; 19 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren: and 11 great-great-grandchildren; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Myrtle is predeceased by her husband, Henry Park; her son, Eldred; great-great-grandchildren: Carter, and Aurora; son-in-law: Victor Ross; stepsons: Percy, Ross, and Wilfred; stepdaughter: Mary; her parents: Enos and Martha Coates; sisters: Winnie, Gert, and Olive; and brother: Victor.

There will be a visitation held on Sunday, March 12 ^th , 2023 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM, from where the funeral service will take place on Monday, March 13 ^th , 2023 at 2 PM in the Country Haven Chapel with Pastor Jamie Rowsell officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a donation can be made in Myrtles memory to a charity of one's choice.
