It is with great sadness that the family of the late Minnette (Maynard) Gosse announce her passing at the Western Long-term Care surrounded by her loving family. She Leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her daughters: Fronie (Fred) Williams of A.B., Bev Cribb of A.B., Michelle (Earl) Lawlor of N.L., Kim (Todd) Macdonald of N.L., and Dena Gosse of N.L.; son: Dean Gosse of N.L.; grandchildren: Justin (Theresa), Crystal (Dan), Cassandra, Tiffany (Matthew), Natasha (Mason), Todd, Steven, Kris (Sandi), Sheldon (Brittany), Vicki, Adam and Aiden; 13 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Dan (Pat), Phyllis, Doug (Rachel), Stan (Sarah), Christine, Howard (Elaine), Andrew (Carolyn), Caroline (Kavin), Wince (Nadine), John (Susan), Robert (Darlene) and Brenda; sisters-in-law: Anna (Peter), Margaret, and Marcie (Pat); and brother-in-law: Don (Kay); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
The family would like to thank her extended family at the Western Long Term Care-Valley side who took wonderful care of her the last three years.
Minnette is predeceased by her husband: Winston (2022); son: Winston Hunter (1962); son-in-law: Garry Cribb; parents: Andrew and Harriet Maynard; brother: Clayton; sisters: Eva, and Ada; brothers-in-law: Isaac and George; parents-in-law: Valentine and Fronie Gosse; and other family members.
At Minnette's request cremation has taken place. There will be no formal visitation at this time. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, August 22nd, 2024 at 2:00 PM with the Very Rev. Catherine Short officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations can be made in Minette's memory to a charity of one's choice.
