Mildred Mary Bourgeois

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mildred Mary Bourgeois (nee. Humber) announce her passing at the Western Long Term Palliative Care on Monday, July 27th, 2026 at the age of 83 years, with her dear son Ron, and sister Signa by her side.

She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her son: Ron Bourgeois; grandchildren: Thomas, Nicholas, Christie, and Jessica; two great-grandchildren: Jessica, and Zurha; sisters: Signa, Lorraine (Jim), Marie (Dave), and Jean; brother: Randy (Debbie); and sister-in-law: Effie.

Mildred was predeceased by her husband: Jerome Bourgeois; son: Wayne; her parents: Margaret and Hebbert Humber; and brother: Martin.

Mildred always had a smile on her face and was known well for her love of diamond art and animals. She definitely loved company and was well known as a social butterfly… she was always up for anything!

As per Mildred’s request, cremation has taken place. There will be no formal visitation or funeral service at this time. Interment to take place at the Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Meadows, on Thursday, July 30, 2026 at 1 PM with Greg Loder officiating.

The family would like to thank the Palliative Care team and staff for their wonderful care in her last days here with us. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Mildred’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
