It is with great sadness that the family of the late Maureen Ellsworth announce her passing on February 17, 2022 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL at the age of 68 years. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories, her mother: Joan; Brother: David (Marilyn); Sisters: Karen Newhook (Paul) and Wanda; Nephew: Mark; Niece: Stephanie Lowe (Rob); Great-nieces: Chelsea Penney (Michael), Marina Goodyear (Mitchell); Great-nephews: Ryan Lowe (Emily), Gregory, Kaiden, Jamie, and Lucas; Great grand-niece: Isla-Faye; Great grand nephews: Rhett, Sammy, and Andrew; her lifelong friends who were more like sisters; Geraldine MacDonald-Boyd and Eileen Gunn; close friend in St. John's: Gloria Kennedy; and Mary Macdonald and family who were like a second family to Maureen. Also left to mourn, a large circle of other relatives and close friends. Maureen is predeceased by her father, Melvin (2008). As per Maureen's wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy no flowers by request, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of one's choice.
