It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Mullins announce her peaceful passing at the Western Long Term Care Palliative Care Unit with her family by her side at the age of 97 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: 5 sons: George (Cindy), Richard (Jeanette), Michael (Betty Hammond), Gerald (Carmel), Brian (Marina); 5 daughters: Marie Drover (Bill), Patricia Payne, Mary Park (Vernon), Paulette Keough (John), Helen Pittman (Frank Ledwell), 19 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, 3 Step Grandsons, 8 Step Great Grandchildren, sister Bride Dillon, sister-in-law Ruth Hamilton, numerous nieces and nephews, and a large circle of family and friends. Mary was predeceased by her husband Frank, parents Richard and Mary Hamilton, sisters Gertrude Hamilton, Margaret Pope: brothers, twin brother Clarence Hamilton, Patrick Hamilton, Michael Hamilton, Leo Hamilton, Andrew Hamilton, sisters-in-law Dorothy Hamilton, Catherine Hamilton: brothers-in-law Gerald Dillon, Jack Pope: son in law Randy Pittman and grandson Tyler Pittman. A special thank you to her home care workers, Patsy Hann, Louise Batt, and Arista White. Dr. Julia O'Connor, and the care of Dr. Laferty and the Palliative Care Nurses for their compassion and care our mother received during her final days. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, there will be a private family visitation at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel, 167 Country Road, on Thursday, February 4, 2021, and Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, February 5, 2021, at the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer and Immaculate Conception, Mt. Bernard Avenue with Msgr. Jim Robertson officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Holy Redeemer Parish or Sheppard's Fund.
