It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary "Lillian" LeCointre (nee Gillingham) announce her passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Centre on Monday, November 2, 2020 at the age of 85 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her 3 sons: Eric "Rick" (Florence) of Stephenville, James (Kay) of Mainland, and Colin (Christy) of Ontario; her daughters: Phyllis LeCointre (Bob Mirpuri), Sherry LeCointre (Gary Ogenski) both of BC; her grandchildren: Bruce (Kelly), Robert, Belinda (Mike), Meghan all in Ontario, Dunston (Cora) of Cormack, Wendy (Jim) of Three Rock Cove, Francis (Cynthia) of Ontario, Farrah (Chris) of Washington, Enid (Ian) of Ontario, Nakita (Marcin), Thomas both in Ontario, Harold, Nathalie, Martin, Jimmy, Conrad and Gordon all in Ontario, Ashley (Brandy) Marshall of Ontario, Martin (Raya) Dee of BC; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; her brothers: William (Beatrice), and Lloyd (Lola) both of Cormack; her sisters: Maisie (Wallace) Leboubon of Pasadena, Marion Gillingham of Hearts Delight, Ivy Clarke of Corner Brook; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Lillian was predeceased by her husband Martin; her son Francis; her parents Hilda and Thomas Gillingham; and her two brothers in law: Gord and Eric. A special thank you for being a part of Moms life and being there for her – Daphne (Casey) King, and Lawrence (Miranda) Hawkins. The family would like to thank the fourth floor of the long term care centre of Corner Brook for the wonderful care of our mom (Thank-You). A private family funeral service will take place at the St. Nicholas Anglican Church in Cox's Cove on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at 2 pm with Rev. Bellamy officiating. Interment to follow at the St. Nicholas Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted and/or memorial donations may be made to the Animal Shelter in Stephenville. Thank you to Country Haven Funeral Home in Corner Brook and the Anglican Parish in Cox's Cove for a job well done.
