It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Mary Grace Hardy announce her passing at Corner Brook Long Term Care on Friday, March 26, 2021, at the age of 84 years.  Mary leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories of her children:  Debbie Schaufert (Dale), Diane Tavenor (Randy), Darrell Hardy, Derek Hardy, Dawn Hardy.  Her 6 precious grandchildren: Nathan Schaufert (Taylor), Natasha Bryden (Bob), Michael Tavenor, Mark Tavenor (Amy), Jesse Hardy, Chelsey Hardy; one great-grandchild, Benson Schaufert.  Sisters:  Jean Christopher, Louise McCarthy, and Myrtle Haigh (Barry); Brothers:  Gerald Jones (Barb), Calvin Jones (Betty); Sister-In-Law:  Helen Jones; Brother-In-Law: Oscar Hardy (Cheryl) and a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.  Mary was predeceased by her husband: Jim Hardy, her parents:  John and Gladys Jones, 2 brothers: Eric Jones (Violet), Lloyd Jones. Cremation has taken place.  A visitation will take place on Monday, April 5, 2021, at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel between the hours of 2-4 pm.  The funeral service will take place at The Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at 2 pm with The Very Rev. Catherine Short officiating.  Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, there are no flowers by request, in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mary Hardy may be made to the St. John The Evangelist Church Fund or to a charity of one's choice.  A huge thank you to the staff of the Corner Brook Long Term Care, especially the staff of 3 South who took such good care of our mother during her last days.
