It is with great sadness and heartache, the family of the late Mary Agnes Brake, announce her passing at her residence in Paradise, NL on August 6, 2025 at the age of 85. She leaves to mourn with loving memories, her daughter: Carolyn; granddaughter: Katie (Jordan); sisters: Eileen, Linda (Henry), Jocelyn (Junior), and Sheila; brother: Clarence (Patsy); sisters-in-law: Linda (Bill), Alma (Phil), Violet, Maxine, Verna, Elizabeth, Edith, and Shirley; brother-in-law: Gerry (Mary); and brother-in-law: Bill Stezyn; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Mary was predeceased by her husband: Bill; her son: Dale; parents: Pearl and William; parents-in-law: Elizabeth and William; sisters: Caroline, and Margaret; and her brothers: Percy, Ross, Rufus, and Jerry.

Mary adored her best friend: Ann McHugh; and her special friends: Rachel Darrigan, and Millie King. Anyone who knew Mary, loved her ambitious look on life. She was there for everybody and anybody. She was a proud member of the Echo Seniors Club, loved playing cards, darts, bowling, and playing bingo.

In following Mary's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a vistiation at Counrtry Haven Funeral Home on Tuesday September 9th from 1-2pm followed by a funeral service at 2PM in the Country Haven Chapel with Father Lee Lainey officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a donation may be made in Mary's memory to a charity of one's choice. There will be a gathering at the Echo Club after the Cemetery Service for friends and family.
