It is with heartfelt sadness that the Pennell family announces the peaceful passing of their mother, Martha Elizabeth Pennell on Monday, October 18, 2021, at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in her 93rd year. She was predeceased by her husband Leonard Pennell.  Leaving to mourn are family members: Albert (Betty), Gordon (Judy), Terry (Hellen), Clayton (Angela), Randy (Moya), Rick (Sharon), Todd (Rebecca), & Steve (Lesa); and daughters: Sandra Fiander (Bruce), Ruby Hull (Howard), Louise Howse (Colin), & Connie Pennell (Sarah); and her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law Colleen and parents, Joseph & Albertha Jane. She will also be dearly missed by close family friends Camille Pennell and Doris Pennell and many others too many to mention. Martha (Mae) will be resting at Country Haven Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place at the funeral home Friday, October 22, 2021. Due to COVID restrictions, the funeral will be for immediate family only. Interment will follow at the Mount Patricia Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Diabetic Association.
