It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marion Jean Foote (nee. Easton) announce her passing on Tuesday, June 20th, 2023 at the Corner Brook Palliative Care Unit in her 86th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her children: Margaret, Freeman (Janette), Alex (Judy), Donald (Angela), Todd (Patty), and Joy (Rod); her siblings: Alex, Gord, Viva, Frank, Winnie, Gary, and Brian; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Marion is predeceased by her husband, Freeman Foote (2003); parents: Bill and Gladys Easton; son: Gerald; siblings: George, Mildred, Shirley, Beatrice, Bill, Rita, and Linda; son-in-law: Brian Young; and grandson: Kevin.

There will be a visitation held on Thursday, June 22nd, 2023 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM, from where the funeral service will take place on Friday, June 23rd, 2023 at 2 PM at the Humber United Church with Rev. Jocelyn Cook officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a donation can be made in Marion's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation (www.heartandstroke.ca), or Canadian Cancer Society (https://cancer.ca/en/).
