It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Marilyn Debra Woodman announce her passing at the Western Long-Term Palliative Care Unit, on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at the age of 69 years. Her beloved family was by her bedside during the final goodbye, and are heartbroken with the loss of our beautiful loved one.

Marilyn leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her lifetime partner: Gary Bennett; her son: Johnathan; dear mother: Jean Woodman; sister: Doreen, who was by her side through every step of her journey; her brother: Derek (Myrna); sisters-in-law: Sharon Durdle, Karen Critch (Dave); brothers-in-law: Jim (Jean), Darrell (Darlene), and Jason (Meg); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Marilyn was predeceased by her son: Chad; her father: Reginald; and nephew: Jason Young. She is also predeceased by her best friend of many years: Trudy Gallant, who passed only one night before Marilyn. They will both be dearly missed.

In following Marilyn's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no formal visitation or funeral service at this time. There will be a celebration of life taking place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Marilyn's memory to the Food Bank or to your local S.P.C.A.
