It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Marie Ernestine Caravan (nee. Pelley), on Saturday, December 9th, 2023, at the tender age of 91 years, after a very fulfilling life. She leaves to mourn with the most precious memories, her incredible children: Max Jr. (Lucille), Bill (Judy), Margaret, Richard (Wanda), David (Susan), John, and Sandra (Joe); her daughter-in-law: Catherine; her siblings: Margie Pelley, Dick Pelley (Sylvia), and Gary Pelley (Beverley); sister-in-law: Dora Clarke; as well as her many beautiful grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; her many nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved, and was very proud of; and her many, many friends who will miss her tremendously.

Mom is predeceased by her wonderful parents: James and Mary Pelley; her loving husband: Maxwell Caravan; her brothers: Walter, Max "Moon", and Jim Pelley; her sisters: Ann Leonard, and Blanche Lakins; her son: James "Jim" Caravan; daughter: Linda Cameron; her son-in-law: Jerry May; and granddaughter: Tracy Caravan.

There will be a visitation held on Wednesday, December 13th, 2023 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM, from where the funeral service will take place on Thursday, December 14th, 2023 at 11 AM in the Country Haven Chapel with Rev. Tanya White officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her beautiful daughter, Linda, and her devoted husband Maxwell. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a donation can be made in Marie's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
