Maria Beatrice Durnford, born in Francois, NL, passed away peacefully at the Calder Health Centre, Burgeo, NL, at the age of 90 years young. Aunt Beat leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, a large circle of nephews, great-nephews, nieces, great-nieces and knowing to all of her friends as Aunt Beat. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank; parents: John and Elizabeth Marsden; brothers: Jacob, James, Wilfred and Stewart; sister: Hilda; sisters-in-law: Irene and Gladys.

As per Aunt Beats' request, cremation has taken place. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, May 18th, 2022 at St. John the Evanglist Church, Burgeo, NL at 1:00 PM with Deacon Brenda Strickland officiating. Interment to take place at a later date in Francois.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
