It is with broken hearts and fond memories that the family of the late Margaret Rose Madore (Mag) announce her peaceful passing on Monday, October 31 ^st , 2022 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook, NL, after battling a lengthy illness.

Mag was an avid sports fan, enjoyed her fishing, and was loved by all. Left to mourn are her siblings: Estelle Coady of Cape Broyle; Walter Madore (Jean) of Corner Brook; Jerome Madore (Marg) of Grand Prairie; Cecilia Hefferton of Corner Brook; Mary George (Norm) of Corner Brook; Bernadette Holliday (Steve) of Virginia Beach, and Irene Madore (Don) of Labrador City; sister-in-law: Betty Madore of Dartmouth; as well as many special nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her homecare workers.

Mag is predeceased by her parents: Frank and Bridget Madore; infant sister: Olive; sister: Ann and her husband Junior Coady; brothers: Alfred, George and wife Norma; as well as her brothers-in-law: Edward (Ned) Coady, and Conrad Hefferton.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and nurses of Western Memorial Regional Hospital for their special care, as well as Mag's family doctor, Dr. J. Boulis.

There will be a visitation held on Thursday, November 3 ^rd , 2022 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will take place on Friday, November 4 ^th , 2022 at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Parish at 10:30 AM with Bishop Bart Van Roijen officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. No flowers by request, instead; a donation can be made in Mag's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society ( https://cancer.ca ).
