It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Helen Duke Gillette on Sunday, March 14, 2021, at the age of 94 years.  She was the hierarchy of our family.  She lived life very independently.  She loved spending her summers at the cabin and spending time with her family.  She was a very proud grandmother and gave so much love to her grandchildren over the years.  Margaret was predeceased by her husband Roy Gillette and her son, Glenn Gillette.  She leaves behind her children:  Wayne (Betty) Gillette and Craig (Sharon) Gillette.  Her grandchildren, Amanda (Johnny), Jay (Laura), Katelynn (Mike) and great-grandchildren: Zack (Katie) and baby Leah; her siblings: Jack (Stach) Duke, Pat (Marion) Duke and Matilda (John) Dawe, nieces, nephews, family and friends. A special mention to Paul Duke who was very close to her. There will be no formal visitation or funeral service at this time.  It will be announced at a later date. Margaret was loved by many and she will be missed by many.  Her humour and smile will live on through her family.  She loved all animals.  As expressions of sympathy, there are no flowers by request, in lieu of flowers donations in memory of Margaret can be made to the S.P.C.A.
