It is with great sadness that the family of the late Margaret "Maggie" Ann Durnford (Jesso) announce her sudden passing on Friday, June 3rd, 2022 at the age of 62 years. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband of 34 years, Sam Durnford; her mother, Eileen Jesso; her children: Calvin Baldwin (Shanna), and Angela Baldwin (Sean); grandchildren: Shawn Baldwin-Bennett, and Tyson Baldwin-Bennett (Kylie Gillingham); siblings: Bill Jesso (Theresa Glynn), Mary Jesso, Ernie Jesso (Betty), Jeremy Jesso (JoAnne), and Stacey Jesso (Myles Campbell); in-laws, John Durnford, Linda Durnford, and David Durnford; close friends: David Baldwin, Linda and Eric Parsons, Leah Mischaud, Laura White, and Brian; as well as her furry and faithful friends, Joshua, and Casey who passed in 2020. Margaret is predeceased by her father, Wilfred Joseph Jesso; brother, Jack Jesso; father-in-law, John Durnford; mother-in-law, Nina Durnford (Carroll); brothers-in-law: Calvin Durnford, Donald Durnford, and Roland Durnford; and sisters-in-law: Laura Young, and Rebecca Parsons.

Maggie loved to garden and spend time at the cabin. She especially enjoyed spending time in the country on quad with her husband. Maggie loved her fur babies with a passion. She was involved with the Mi'kmaq Band. Now she is where the sun always shines and she will always be beautiful. Her husband will miss her forever more. She was truly the love of his life.

As per Maggie's request, cremation has taken place. There will be a visitation on Friday, June 10 ^th , 2022 at 1:00 PM in the Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel, with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Tanya White officiating. Interment to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Maggie's funeral expenses are graciously accepted and appreciated.
