It is with great sadness that the family of the late Major Franklin "Frank" Abner Johnson announce his peaceful passing at the Western Long-Term Palliative Care Unit on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at the age of 84 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his devoted wife of 60 years: Jean Johnson (nee. He was not only a valued member of our community, but also someone who touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His kindness, warmth, and genuine spirit will be deeply missed.
In following Frank's wishes, there will be a visitation taking place on Monday, December 8, 2025 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 2-4 PM, and 7-9 PM, from where the funeral service will take place at 2 PM on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at the Salvation Army Community Church, O'Connell Drive, Corner Brook, with Major Brian Wheeler officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. There will be a Funeral Live Stream on the Salvation Army Community Church's Facebook page.
