It is with great sadness that the family of the late Maisie Doreen Young announce her passing at the Corner Brook Long-Term Care on Sunday, February 7, 2021, at the age of 71 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children:  daughters: Michelle (Dempsey Lovell), Melinda (Gilles Plourde), Heather Young. Husband: Raymond Young. Her grandchildren: Jeffrey (Paula), Julia (Keith), Brandon (Kalina), Nathan; great-grandchildren: Allie, Weston, Easton, Maisie, Joshua, Richard, Sarah. Siblings: Valda (Edward) Inez, Eric (Debbie), Kenneth (Gail), Sandra, Roland, Daisy (David), Regina (Richard), Judy (Linda). Maisie was predeceased by her parents: Alexander White and Mary Ellen Byrne and brother Kenneth White. A private visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will also be held at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, with Father Lee Lainey officiating with interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers would be greatly appreciated or memorial donations in memory of Maisie, can be made to the ALS Society.
