It is with great sadness that the family announce the peaceful passing of Mabel Irene Brenton on May 3, 2023, at the age of 86, surrounded by her loving family, at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Home. Mabel was born and raised in Corner Brook.

She leaves to mourn with many loving memories, her 3 children: Bruce (Madeline), Sharon (Blair), and Linda (Brian); four grandchildren: Alyssa (Matt), Alexandra (Jade), Renee (Tanner), and Ryan (Marie); her three great-grandchildren: Hannah, Lennon, and Rocco; sisters: Lorraine, and Pat (Bob); brother: Derek (Skip); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Mabel is predeceased by her husband William; parents Ernestine and Basil Morey; sisters: Vivian and Tillie; and her brothers: Bruce, Gerald, and Jim.

There will be no visitation. The funeral service will take place at 10:30 AM on Monday, May 8 ^th , 2023 in the Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Major Brian Wheeler officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a donation can be made in Mabel's memory to a charity of one's choice.
