It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Olive Stagg announce her passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Home on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at the age of 84 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, her children: Edith (Henry) Pinhorn, Debbie (Les) Pike, Sandra (Nick) Hawco, Cheryl (Don) Snow, David (Paula) Stagg, all of corner Brook, and Phillip (Sue) Stagg of Exeter, England; daughter-in-law Geraldine Stagg (Brian Nolan) of Reidville; grandchildren: Carla Reid, Paula Gardner, Jeffrey Stagg, Jason Stagg, Dwayne Gillam, Marcus Pike, Joshua Pike, Cassandra Hawco, Nicholas Hawco, Megan Stagg, Katherine Stagg, Crystal Snow, Matthew Stagg and Julia Stagg; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Ruby Wiseman, Joyce Wiseman, Rowena Wiseman, Audrey Rideout and Sylvia (Fred) Burton; as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. Olive was predeceased by her husband Gordon George Stagg; son Gerald; daughter Judy; grand-daughter Amy Pinhorn; parents Charles and Amy Wiseman, and her brothers and sisters. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Tuesday, between the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Temple, O'Connell Drive, with Captains Pamela and Cory Pinksen officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
