It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lucretia Brake (nee March) announce her peaceful passing surrounded by family at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook, NL on April 5, 2021 at the age of 63 years. Leaving to mourn, her husband of 46 years, Walter; her children, Tina Diamond (Clarence) and Kirk Brake (Pam Wight); Grandchildren Marissa (Brandon), Lauren and Luke. Her mother, Cassie March; sisters, Jubilee Brinston and Daphne March; brother, Dana Marche (Berdena); Special Aunt Hilda and special cousin Brenda House. Mother-in-law Minnie Brake; Brother-in-law, Bob Brake; Sister-in-law, Betty Blanchard (Archie). Also left to mourn, a large circle of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, nieces, nephews and special friends. Lucretia was pre-deceased by her father Cyril March; Sister, Gail George; Brothers-in-law, Leroy George and Isaac Brinston; Father-in-law, Maitland Brake. A private family viewing will be held from St. James Anglican church in Gillams, on Wednesday, April 7 ^th , 2021 with a private funeral service to be held on Thursday, April 8 ^th , 2021, with Rev. Kay Osmond officiating. Interment to follow at the Holy Trinity Anglican cemetery in Meadows.
