It is with heavy hearts the family of Lori Frances Lilian Kettle announce her passing on the 15th of January 2023, in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, after a lengthy and valiant battle with cancer.
Predeceased by her mother, Edith Ida "Christina" (Barter) Kettle, step-mother, Virginia "Diane" (Fleming) Kettle and brother, Donald Charles John Kettle Jr.
Mourning the loss of a much loved daughter is, Donald Charles John Kettle Sr., of Port Colborne, Ontario.
Cherished sister of Susan Kettle, Richmond Hill, Ontario. Rose (Grant Rowland) Kettle, Tory Hill, Ontario. Dorothy (Kevin) Schmida, Florida. Jennifer Kettle and James Kettle, Port Colborne, Ontario.
Beloved Aunty to Ethina Kettle, Jared (Katie) Kettle, Hailey (Andrew Gobin) Kettle, Brandon and Bailey Rodrigue.
Granaunty to Ethan, Skye, Emma, Jayden, Abel, Emaleigh and Ezra.
She will be leaving behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close friends whom she loves and adores, along with special memories of fishing in Port Colborne, Ontario, of Terrace Bay, Ontario, and Haliburton, Ontario.
Lori requested and attended a "Living Wake" on her behalf on the 6 th of August 2022, at the Royal Canadian Legion, Port Colborne, Ontario. Cremation has taken place.
Thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Western Palliative Care Program for the care and comfort that they gave to Lori. A special thank you to nurse Dwayne, who shared a very special bond with Lori during surgeries as well as during her long and final battle.
