It is with great sadness that the family of the late Loretta McCarthy announce her passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Home on Friday, December 25, 2015 at the age of 82 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her son Michael Wayne Jordan (Catherine), Scarborough, ON; grandchildren: Tammy Jordan Humes (Gord), Jacqueline Denise McKenney, Catherine Jordan Gillespie (Andrew), and Wayne Richard Jordan (Patricia); 9 great-grandchildren; sisters: Patricia Sutton, Bernice Snow (Ray), all of Harbour Grace, Mary Wheeler, Grand Falls, and Pauline Gatherall, Cornwall, ON, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Francis; parents Agnes and Michael Patrick Jordan; sister Beatrice Davidson; brothers-in-law: Dennis Sutton and Lionel Wheeler. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Monday between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place at the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer on Mt. Bernard Avenue on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Edward Terry officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery.
