The family of the late Lloyd Wilfred Buckle would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone for their kindness, support, and sympathy shown during this recent loss. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lloyd Wilfred Buckle announce his peaceful passing on Monday, November 20th, 2023 at the Corner Brook Palliative Unit at the age of 90 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife of 69 years: Verna Buckle (nee. Williams); his children: Robert (Linda), Llewellyn, and Cindy (Myles); grandchildren: Lloyd (Barbara), Stephen (Shelley), Jessica, Cody (Emily), Chelsey (Alex), Michael (Melanie), and Corey (Vanessa); great-grandchildren: Jackson, Ryder, David, Charlie, Theo, Tommy, Lennon, and Jax; brothers: David, and Edgar; brothers-in-law: David, Ray (Linda), Fred (Winnifred), Alphonsus, Reginald, and Keith; and sister-in-law: Bernice Buckle; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews other relatives, and many friends.

Lloyd is predeceased by his parents: Wilfred and Laura Buckle; granddaughter: Erika Buckle; sisters: Joan Moss (Clarence), and Rosalie Sheppard; brother: Llewellyn Buckle; and parents-in-law: Gladys and Frederick Williams.

At Lloyd's request, cremation has taken place. There will be a visitation held at Country Haven Funeral Home on Thursday, November 23rd, 2023 from the hours of 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM, from where the funeral service will take place at 2 PM on Friday, November 24th, 2023 in Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mickton officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a donation can be made in Lloyd's memory to a charity of one's choice.
