It is with great sadness that the family of the late Llewellyn Wesley A. Simmonds announce his passing Saturday, July 13th 2024 in Corner Brook at the age of 91 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his children; Randy, Debbie Day (Daniel), Wanda Baker (Willis), Wilma Whiffen, Mona Lee Penney, Terry (Vi Stevens), Kathy Shmorong (Dennis), Keith (Barbara Gillett) and Dale (Tamber Wallin). Daughter-in-law Barbara (White) Simmonds. Extended family Roger Gillam and his family. Also mourning are his many Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and Great Great-Grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Namely the guys who would meet at "Waynes Garage".

Llewellyn was predeceased by his Wife Dianah Mercedes (Nee Buffett), (February 9th, 2017✞). His parents Charles and Frances Simmonds. Mother and Father-in-law; Henry and Evangeline (Payne) Buffett. Son Wayne. Son-in-law Terry Penney. Daughters-in-law; Jackie Janes and Tanice Wright. His siblings and their spouses; Winston, Florence Green (Henry), Jean Howe (Frank), Bill, Fred (Jeanette Wells) and Harold (Jack), (Annie Doucey). Brothers-in-law; Dr. Frederick Buffett (Ada Taite) and Cyril Buffett (Violet Elliott).

The family wishes to extend special thanks to Dr. Mahmood, his nurses and staff. Dr. Alfaaed (St. Johns) and his Corner Brook Cancer Clinic team of Doctor's and nurses and staff and all other medical personal for their care, support and compassion shown for their father.

Cremation has taken place. There will be no formal visitation or funeral at this time. No flowers by request. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to one's choice.
