April 8, 1958 – June 11, 2024
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Linda Gertrude Pynn announce her passing on Tuesday, June 11th, 2024 at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Center at the age of 66 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her son: Kyle; brothers: David (Bonnie), Allan (Katherine), Terry, Murray, and Gary; sisters: Ruby Baldwin (Mike), and Donna MacLean (Kevin); nieces: Nancy Pynn (Allan), Katie MacLean, Natalie Baldwin, Nicole Baldwin, Catherine Pynn, Sarah McDonald-Hiscock (Lamont), Jessica Pynn, Rebecca Pynn, and Jennifer Rowe; nephews: Gus Pynn (Sue), Ken Pynn, Glen Pynn (Lisa), Paul Pynn, Jamie MacLean, and Nathan Baldwin; her aunt: Evelyn Pynn-Oram; and sister-in-law: Jean Pynn; as well as a large circle of great-nieces and nephews, other family members, and many friends, including her life-long friend: Mary Hawkins.
Linda is predeceased by her mother: Ruby Pynn; father: Maxwell Pynn; brothers: Gus, Max, and Wayne; sister: Evelyn; niece: Tina Pynn; and sister-in-law: Sandra Pynn.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff of the Corner Brook Long Term Care Centre-3 South for their endless love and support provided to Linda over the past several years. It will always be remembered and appreciated. As Linda would say, "thank you for all that you do."
At Linda's request, cremation has taken place. There will be a visitation taking place on Friday, June 21st, 2024 at Country Haven Funeral Home from 1-2 PM, from where the funeral service will take place in the Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jocelyn Cook officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Linda's memory to a charity of one's choice.
