It is with great sadness that the family of the late Linda Doreen Layden announce her passing at Western Long Term, Palliative Care Unit, Corner Brook, NL on Sunday, May 8th, 2022 at the age of 71 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories: her husband, Harvey, of 51 years; daughter: Amanda Chow (Rob); son: Douglas (Tania); precious grandchildren: Robin Richert (Daniel), Kennedie Layden, Kalan Layden and Faith Chow; one great-grandchild: Harvey Richert; sibilings: Alex (Sedilla), Jean, Gord (Jean), Viva, Frank, Winnie, Gary (Irene) and Brian (Mary); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Linda was predeceased by her parents: William and Gladys Easton; siblings: George (Rose), Mildred (Malvin), Freeman, Shirley (Jim), Beatrice (George), Rita, Roseanne, Peter and Bill.

As per Linda's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a visitation at Country Haven Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 11th, 2022 from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 2:00 PM from Humber United Church, with Rev. Jocelyn Cook officiating. Interment to take place at a later date.
