It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda "Joyce" Earle at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on Monday, April 14th 2025 at the age of 94 years. Leaving to mourn with precious memories are her sister Glenda Johnson and brother Milton (Marlene) Bursey, sister-in-law Myrtle Bursey, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband Frank, parents Harrison and Annie Bursey,  siblings Stella (Hayward) Mollon, Bernice (Luke) Woodrow, Valda (Paul) Young, Donald Bursey, Joan (Max) Mitchell, Lorraine (Bill) Drover, Wayne (Pat, Louise) Bursey, Mavis, Doreen and Robert Bursey,  and brother-in-law Ray Johnson.

The family would like to express a sincere thank-you to Joy and the staff at Westmount Estates and the 5B staff at Western Memorial Regional Hospital for their care and kindness during her stay. Also, a special thanks to niece Roxanne who cared for Joyce in her later years.

Joyce's generosity of spirit, her laughter, and her unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. Rest peacefully, Joyce. You lived well, loved deeply, and gave us memories we'll carry forever.

Respecting Joyce's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to the local S.P.C.A. or The Kidney Foundation of Canada in her memory.
