It is with profound sadness that the family of the late Liam Keith Pike announce his peaceful passing wrapped in the arms of his loving parents in the ICU at WMRH on April 10, 2026 at the tender age of 8.

He leaves to mourn his mom and dad: Keith Pike and Heidi Barnes; grandparents: Paul and Marg Pike along with Howard and Anita Barnes; Uncles: Paul (Tanya), Mark (Megan) and Jason (Charmaine); cousins: Ryan (Claire), Kyle, Colby (Sidney), Jessie and Connor; Great Grandmother: Joan Sheppard and very special friend Mattais Kerfont as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.

Liam was predeceased by Great grandparents: Patrick and Nora Curtis, John and Veronica Pike, William and Dorothy Barnes, James Sheppard and his special Aunt Polly.

Liam was born on January 12th, 2018 and although Liam faced many health challenges in his short life, his mom and dad made sure he lived a fun, full and active life. He went on many adventures, whether he was at the splash pad on a hot summer day or camping with family and friends. Liam loved to watch hockey with his dad and was the biggest Toronto Maple Leaf's fan, mom always got him all dressed up to watch the games! Liam enjoyed dressing up for Halloween and spending time with his fur babies Daisy and Papi. He will be missed everyday, a beautiful brown eyed boy gone way too soon, our hearts are broken but we know we have a tiny guardian angel.

Keith and Heidi would like to thank all the nurses and doctors that have taken care of Liam over the years. They would like to express their sincerest gratitude to Dr. Mitchell and the ICU staff who helped them through their hardest days. Thank you to his current respite workers Lori and Laura along with past respite workers who took care of Liam, he was loved by so many.

Cremation has taken place. There will be visitation at Country Haven Funeral Home on Tuesday April 14, 2026 from the hours of 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm with a funeral service to take place at Our Lady Star of the Sea Parish on Wednesday April 15, 2026 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Effie Organ officiating. Interment to take place at a later date.

The family encourages everyone to wear their Toronto Maples Leafs jersey or colours in precious Liam's memory.
