It is with great sadness that the family of the late Leona Margaret Fudge announce her passing at the Palliative Care Unit of the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the age of 74 years. She leaves to mourn with fond & loving memories, her husband Ted Fudge to whom she was married to for 55 years; her daughters: Lisa Fudge (Kasia), Patricia Parsons (Billy) and Tammy Fudge; her granddaughter Ashley Pardy; her grandson Riley Mollon; her great grandson Dominic Bray; her sisters: Madonna Parsons, Jean Hart (Bob), Marie Vokey (Richard); brothers: Gus Parsons (Berlin), Gary Parsons (Nati), Bern Parsons (Mary) and Vincent Parsons (Hellen); brothers in law: Jerry Fudge (Sylvia), Monty Fudge (Josephine), Wayne Fudge (Marie); sisters in law Pauline White (Wayne), and Doris Thorne (Gerry); and also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Leona was predeceased by her parents Annie and Joseph Parsons; sisters: Cecilia Tiller and Theresa Parsons; sisters in law: Eleanor Purchase (Paul), Shirley Noseworthy (Junior), Bonita Tucker (Tom), Linda Barrett (Max), Joan Colbourne (Roy); and her brother in law Bruce Fudge (Marlene). At Leona's request, cremation will take place. Visitation for family and friends will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road, on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 from the hours of 2 to 4pm from where a prayer service will take place from the Country Haven Chapel at 4pm with father Edward Terry officiating. Interment to follow at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted and/or memorial donations can be made to The Parkinson's Foundation, The Kidney Foundation or to a charity of one's choice.
