December 12, 1947 – August 14, 2023
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Leah Marie Crann (nee. Wareham) announce her passing on Monday, August 14th, 2023 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in her 75th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her husband of 32 years: William; their children: Darren Webb (Dawn), and Karen Gaulton (Joe); grandchildren: Ashley, Katlyn, Brittany, Joshua, Benjamin, Matthew, Alex, and Jessica; great-grandchildren: Cameron, Emma, Destiny, Matthew Jr., Lillian, Nicholas, Colson, Amaziah, Dameon, Tianna, Olivia Rebecca Anne, Lincoln James, Emerson Joseph, and Remi Faye; brothers and sisters: Ben Wareham Jr., Clarence Wareham (Helen), Cynthia Wareham (Clif), Bruce Wareham (Brenda), Kevin Wareham, Danny Wareham (Catherine), Phyllis Banks, and Ellen Wareham; Mother-in-law; Rowena Sheppard. brothers and sisters-in-law: Inez Crann, Enos Crann, Rhodie Crann, Walter Crann (Denise), Charlie Crann, Worrick Sheppard (Glynis), Perry Sheppard (Selina), Scott Sheppard (Shirley), and Paulette Deering (Glen); aunt and uncle: Lorraine and Fred Smith; as well as her best friend of many years: Kathleen A. Stockdale; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Leah is predeceased by her parents: Benjamin Sr. and Fanny Wareham; Mother and Father-in-law; Samuel and Marcella Crann and great-grandchild: Liam Johnathan; and sister-in-law: Georgina Wareham.
Leah loved her family, her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed collecting books, dolls, and antiques. One of her favourite pass times was attending the latest flea market where she would find many treasures.
There will be a visitation held on Thursday, August 17th, 2023 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM, from where the funeral service will take place on Friday, August 18th, 2023 at 2 PM in the Country Haven Chapel with Pastor Jamie Rowsell officiating. Interment to follow at the Pasadena Pentecostal Cemetery, North Harbor Road, Pasadena, NL. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a donation can be made in Leah's memory to a charity of one's choice.
