It is with broken hearts, and great sadness, that the family of the late Kevin Nelson Payne announce his passing on Wednesday, April 24th, 2024 at the Corner Brook Palliative Care Unit at the age of 82 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife of 57 years: Anita; their children: Barry, Sandra (Shaun) O'Connor, Brent (Genevieve), and Sonya Parrish (Joshua); grandchildren: Danica, Caitlin, Rory, Aidan, Robert (Kayla), and Marvin (Camille); great-grandchildren: Braylon, Charlotte, Damien, and Jacqueline; brothers and sisters: Eva, Gordon (Elsie), Basil (Pauline), and Lyle (Doris); in-laws: Hannah Park, Beatrice Blanchard (Gerald), Herbert (Mildred Park), Yvonne La Rush (William), and Viola Payne; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Kevin is predeceased by his parents: Edward and Miriam Payne; brothers: Roland, and Claude; sisters: Audrey Penney (Roy), Nita, and Alma Lovell (Shirley); parents-in-law: Israel and Laura Park; and his many in-laws: Taylor White, Melvina Payne, William Park, Frances Park (John), Annie Blanchard (Herbert), John (Alfreda & Margaret), Margaret Park (John), and Reuben Park (Drucilla).

There will be a visitation taking place on Friday, April 26th, 2024 at the St. Nicholas Anglican Church in Cox's Cove, NL from the hours of 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM, from where the funeral service will take place on Saturday, April 27th, 2024 at 2 PM with Rev. Terry Loder officiating, and Archdeacon Charlene Laing assisting. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a donation can be made in Kevin's memory to the Corner Brook Palliative Care Unit, or the St. Nicholas Anglican Church fund.
