After several days of "Sharing the love", as uncle would say, our family is saddened to announce the passing of a loving brother, uncle and friend, Kenneth Park on Wednesday February 15, 2023 at the Corner Brook Palliative Care Unit in his 76th year.

He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his brother Sam Park (Katie), his special niece Trudy Lewis (Rob and Emily), and his many nieces and nephews too numerous to name. Even though he loved and cherished them all; Judy Park, Tammy White, Tracy White, Trevor White and Jody Park held a special place in his big heart. He will also be missed by his sisters-in-law Goldie Park and Caviel Park, brother-in-law Tom Wells and his many other relatives and friends.

Kenneth was pre deceased by his parents Freeman and Julia Park, sisters Mary Brake (Noble), Mercedes Wells, and Floie White (George), brothers Raymond Park and Alfred Park and special niece Jeanette Brake.

Thank you to the staff of the Dialysis Unit who took care of uncle Ken for so many years, nurses on 3A WMRH, Palliative Care Unit and Mountainview House in Meadows, especially Ella and Michelle whom uncle Ken loved dearly. Your care, support and compassion will not be forgotten. To our family who made sure Uncle did not spend one moment alone these past few days a very heartfelt thank you!

Anyone who met or crossed paths with Ken Park knew he was truly one of a kind, with a heart of gold and he loved to tell stories or jokes. He made us laugh until the end and he will be missed dearly.

At Ken's request, cremation has taken place. Friends and family are welcome to visit St James Church in Gillams on Thursday, February 16, 2023 from the hours of 7-9 PM. From where the funeral will take place on Friday, February 17, 2023 at 2pm with Rev Critchell officiating. Interment will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy donations can be made to St. James Church Memorial Fund or a charity of one's choice. Either would be graciously accepted.
