It is with great sadness that, we the family, announce the passing of our dear mother Katherine Regina Kelly on Tuesday, March 7 ^th , 2023 at the Corner Brook Long Term Care at the age of 93 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her children: Don Kelly (Terry Lynne), and Dean Kelly; granddaughter: Jessica Kelly; brother: Gus Willet; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Katherine is predeceased by her husband: Kevin Kelly, whom she shared a wonderful 46 years of marriage with; her parents: Philip and Mary Willet; and her 9 siblings.

Our mom, Katherine, has had many achievements and accomplishments, and seen many hardships, struggles, losses, and changes throughout her 93 years of life. She was dedicated to her faith, and held the Catholic Church and community very near, and dear to her heart.

There will be a visitation held on Monday, March 13 ^th , 2023 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 7-9 PM, from where the funeral service will take place on Tuesday, March 14 ^th , 2023 at 10:30 AM in the Country Haven Chapel. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a donation can be made in Katherine's memory to the Western Health Foundation-CBLTC 3North.

Our family wishes to extend a very special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff of the Corner Brook Long Term Care-3North for their kindness, and compassion shown during our dear mothers time of need, and for making sure she felt comfortable, and that she knew she was never alone. Also, a special thank you to moms niece, Jackie Kennedy, who was there during some of moms final hours; for being there for her as well.
