It is with great sadness that the family of the late Julia Irene Vokey announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at the age of 80 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her beloved husband: Herbert Vokey; children: Christine Vokey (Eugene Lane), Debbie Vokey, and James Vokey (Jana); grandchildren: Heather, Christine, and Reis; one precious great-grandchild; siblings: Harold Oram, Eydie Wiseman (Alvin) and family, and Lindsey Oxford (Josie); and her best friend: Ben Bowring (Anne); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Julia was predeceased by her parents: Harold and Lillian Oram; and siblings: Beatrice Pynn, and Joseph Oram.

There will be a visitation taking place on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 2-4 PM. The funeral service will take place at 11 AM on Sunday, June 29, 2025 in the Country Haven Chapel with Major Lindsey Oxford officiating. Cremation to follow. Interment to take place at a later date.
