It is with great sadness the family of the late Joanne Mary Power announce her passing at the Palliative Care Unit of the Western Long-Term Care, Corner Brook NL. on February 12, 2026 at the age of 64 years.

Joanne leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her sisters; Judy Pfinder, Bridget Moulton (Joe), Elaine Gillam, and Cynthia Pennell (John). Her brother; Vincent Gillam.

She is predeceased by her husband; Dale. Her parents; Vincent and Imelda Gillam and her sisters; Rhonda Banks and Roslyn Cromwell.

Also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

The family would like to pass along special thanks to the doctors and nurses and staff at the Palliative Care Unit for their care and compassion towards Joanne during her stay. Special thanks to cousin Jacqueline Carey and Nurse Janie.

There will be a visitation at Country Haven Funeral Home on Sunday February 15th 2026 from the hours of 2-4PM and 7-9PM. The funeral service will take place on Monday February 16th 2026 at The Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer on Mt. Bernard Avenue at 10:00 am, Corner Brook with Father Lee Lainey officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. Flowers are graciously accepted; donations can be made to the S.P.C.A in her memory.
