It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Jessie Daphne Vokey announce her passing on May 8 ^th , 2023 at Westmount Estates in Corner Brook, NL on her 90 ^th birthday. She leaves to mourn with the fondest of memories, her sons: Roy (Linda), Fred, Henry (Aurora), Gerald (Sandra), Joe (Margie), and Darren (Jannie); her daughters: Ivy Sparkes (Howard), and Emma Whyatt (Glen); 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren: 1 great-great-grandchild; her two sisters: Lucy Miller, and Rachel Clark; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Jessie is predeceased by her husband: Alexander Vokey; her parents: Alfred and Sarah Pippy; her siblings, and other relatives.

Jessie loved to knit and thoroughly enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. She will be forever loved, and dearly missed by us all.

At Jessie's request, cremation has taken place. There will be a visitation for family and friends on Wednesday, May 10 ^th , 2023 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM, from where the funeral service will take place at 2 PM on Thursday, May 11 ^th , 2023 in the Country Haven Chapel with Rev. Mickton officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, instead a donation can be made in Jessie's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, or a charity of one's choice.
