The Stone family would like to extend our gratitude to all who have helped lift the weight of our heavy hearts in losing our beloved James Leslie Stone. James leaves to mourn with unending fond and loving memories, his wife Doris (Power) of 52 years. His brother Michael Stone and his three children, favourite eldest child Laurie McIntosh, his favourite middle child Roseann Schnarr, and his favourite youngest James William Stone will be in attendance to share memories and laughter and stories on Thursday, June 27 from 2-4 and 7-9 at Country Haven.

He was blessed to have a legacy of 5 grandchildren: Daniel, Abbie, Maggie, Dylan, and Ashleigh. His legacy will further be spoke through the ages with the blessing of 6 great-grandchildren and countless friends and family he considered all invaluable gifts.

1:30 PM Friday June 28 a celebration of life will be held at Country Haven honoring James' final wishes as he will be reunited with his mother Florence Bessie Stone (Grimes), his father William Charles Stone and his sister Elizabeth Rose Stone. A private send off at Mount Patricia to follow. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Janeway Children's Hospital Foundation as he so lovingly and festively supported showing us all a living example of how to give back.
