It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, James (Jim) Calvin Park at the Health Science Centre on Tuesday, May 4th, 2021 at 76 years of age. Left to mourn his loving wife of 56 years Gladys, his 7 children; Sherry (Andy), Dennis, Derek (Carol-ann), Paul (Lisa), Paula (Brendan), Cory (Dana), Pamela (Blair). 10 Grandchildren; Amy (Hughie), Erica (Nick), Dora (Mike), Shane, Dennis (Shantia), Cassandra (Brady), Courtney (Brandon), Colin (Leandra), Justin (Carlee), Taylor, Casey, and Christina. 9 Great-grandchildren; Mason, Kaylee, Wyatt, Gracie, Peyton, Declan, Nate, Nicholas, and Rihanna. His siblings Llewelyn (Alice), Curtis (Ula), Maggie (Utley), Ed (Abby), and Carson (Kathy). Brothers-in- law Max (Nancy), Jimmy (Frances), Lewis Morgan, Sisters-in-law Stella (Kevin), Mona (Victor), Rowena Payne, and Ivy Park, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Jim and Flossie Park, brother Luke, Sisters Inez and Nina. His parents-in-law Joseph and Blanche Brown, brother-in-law Kevin Payne, and his special Niece Vanessa Brown. There will be a private family Visitation at the Anglican church in Mcivers on May 7th, 2021 from where a funeral service will take place on Saturday, May 8th, 2021 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Terry Loder and Malcolm Palmer officiating. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses on the CCU and the CVICU at the Health Science Centre, as well as his nurse Shelby Parsons at Western Memorial Regional Hospital for the exceptional care you provided for our father and grandfather.
