It is with great sadness that the family of the late James John Hartley announce his passing on Friday, May 28 ^th , 2021 at the age of 79 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Marina Hartley (Joseph), son, Jonathan Hartley, brothers, Leo Hartley, Joseph Hartley (Joan), Edward Hartley (Theresa), Gerald Hartley (Suzan), Richard Hartley, (Sharon) and sister, Isabelle Dufour (Louis) and a number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, James W. Hartley, Edna M. Hartley; sisters Margaret Barry, Helen Hartley; brother Thomas Hartley, niece, Donna Barry The family would like to thank Doctor MacKenzie, Dr. Brazil, Dr. Mahrugh, his nurse Leslie and other staff nurses at the ICU and Surgery ward for the care they have shown to James.  To Father Terry for his many visits and prayers. Per James's request, cremation has taken place. There will be a private family funeral service at Country Haven Funeral Home on Thursday, June 3 ^rd , 2021 at 11:00 am with Father James officiating. Interment to take place at a later date.
