It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ivan Moses Murrin announce his passing on October 17 ^th , 2022 at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Center at the age of 84 years old. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife of 60 years, Alfreda; his daughters: Judy Murrin (Ken), Betty Barry (Ken), Karen Murrin, and Donna Kaye DeSmet (Will); his sons: Terry Murrin (Cathy), and Stephen Murrin (Maisie); sisters: Mae Kennedy, and Jeannie Charmichael; brothers: Neil Murrin (Leona), Gerald Murrin (Emma); his 28 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Ivan is predeceased by his parents, Sidney and Elizabeth Murrin; daughter: Susan; sisters: Florence (Tom), Shirley (Norbert), and Mary (Walt); brothers: Jack (Hazel), Sidney (Annie), and Clyde; and brother-in-law: Doug Charmichael.

There will be a visitation held on Thursday, October 20th, 2022 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. From where the funeral service will take place on Friday, October 21 ^st , 2022 at 2 PM in the Country Haven Chapel with Rev. Effie Organ officiating. Interment to follow in Lark Harbour at the Anglican Cemetery. Flowers are graciously accepted, or in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Ivan's memory to a charity of one's choice.
