July 13, 1949 – July 8, 2025
It is with profound sadness that the family of Irvine Park announce his passing on Tuesday, July 8th at the Dr. Albert O'Mahony long term care facility in Clarenville, at the age of 75. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 52 years; Yvonne. Daughter; Lana(Dion). Son; Landon(Sharon) and his three precious grandsons, (who are the sparkle of his eyes); John, James, and Jake. His sister; Grace. His brothers; Clarence(Judy), Elvis(Heather) and Baxter(Nancy). Sister-in-law; Millicent. Brother-in-law; Rodney(Wanda) and sister-in-laws Nola(Freeman), Sharon(Scott) Trudy and Kay(Don) As well as a large circle of nephews, nieces, other family and friends.
He was predeceased by his mother and father; Pearl and Irvine Park. Granddaughter; baby Maria. Brothers; Harold, Samuel and William Park. Nephew; Gilles Park and great nephew; Mitch Park. Parents-in-law; James and Nina Baldwin. Brother-in-laws; Freddy and Horace Baldwin and Reg Reader. Nephews; Jody and Mark Baldwin.
Visitation will take place at the St. Nicholas Anglican Church in Cox's Cove on Thursday July 10th from 7-9PM and 2-4PM and 7-9PM Friday July 11th. There will be a family and friends service on Friday July 11th at 7PM and the funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 12th at 11:00am with the Rev. Terry Loder officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the St. Nicholas Anglican Church fund .
A special thank you to all the wonderful staff who provided exceptional care during his illness including his home care workers and staff at the Bonavista and Clarenville long term care facilities.
