It is with great sadness that the family of Irene Beales announce her passing on January 4, 2024 in Corner Brook, NL at the age of 82 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband Stan, daughter Annette (Joseph) of St. John's, and two precious grandchildren, Claire and Kyle.

Irene also leaves siblings Doreen Gardner, David (Gwen) Gardner, and Tina Cabral; as well as sister-in-law Marie (Bob), and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. She is preceded in death by parents Orestes (1996) and Annie (1986); brothers: Alonzo (1940), Franklin (1943), and Bob (2019); sisters: Bonita (1946), Elizabeth (2006), and Geraldine (2014).

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024 at Country Haven Funeral Home from  2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place at 2 pm on Saturday, January 6, 2024 in the Country Haven Chapel with Major Brian Wheeler officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a donation can be made in Irene's memory to the Salvation Army Temple , O'Connell Drive.

The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to Gwen and Dave Gardner, and Doreen Gardner, for their outstanding care of both Irene and Stan during this very difficult time; as well as many others who have provided their love, support, and care.
