It is with great sadness that the family of the late Hubert Isaac Gillingham announce his passing on February 2nd, 2025 at the Bay St. George Long-term Care in his 72nd year. Hubert had many life struggles and challenges but he was a very kind hearted soul. He will be happy to reunite with his mom, Daisy, whom he loved dearly. He will be missed by his sister: Linda Gillingham-McHugh (Bernard).

Thanks to the Lohnes Complex in Curling, Bay St. George Long-term Care in Stephenville Crossing, and to all the doctors, nurses, and staff in general for the care you gave my brother over the many years he battled with mental illness.

As per Hubert's request, cremation has taken place. There will be no formal visitation or funeral service at this time. A promised by his dear sister Linda, Hubert will be interred with his dear mother in the Townsite Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Hubert's memory to a charity of one's choice.
