It is with heavy, and saddened hearts that the family of the late Hilda Beatrice Francis (nee. Hiscock) announce her passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care on Sunday, December 10th, 2023 at the age of 78 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her companion: Garland Greene; daughter: Mary Butt (Paul); grandsons: Jordan Francis (Laura), and Jeremy Francis; great-granddaughters: Lilly Francis, and Ava Matchett; great-grandson: Phillip Francis; step-daughters: Sherry MacDonald (Kevin), and Sarah Colson (Kris Caravan); step-grandsons: Tyler MacDonald, Kaleb Caravan, and Kason Caravan; and brothers: Cecil Hiscock (Faye), and Fred Hiscock (Sheila); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Hilda is predeceased by her parents: Alex and Phyllis Hiscock; and nephew: Craig Hiscock.

There will be a visitation held on Wednesday, December 13th, 2023 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 1 PM-3 PM from where the funeral service will take place in the Country Haven Chapel at 3 PM with Father Amar officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, instead a donation can be made in Hilda's memory to a charity of one's choice.
