It is with profound sadness the family of the late Herbert Vokey announce his passing from the Corner Brook Long Term Care on Sunday May, 17th 2026 at the age of 86 years.

He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children; Christine Vokey (Eugene Lane), Debbie Vokey, and James Vokey (Jana). Grandchildren; Heather, Christine, Reis. One great Grandchild. Sister-in-law; Ruby Vokey. Special family friends; Ben & Anne Bowring. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He is predeceased by his wife; Julia. His parents; James and Stella. His siblings; Wilson, Phillip (Ruby), Garland, Lavina King and family, and Susie Hart (Wilson).

There will be a visitation at Country Haven Funeral Home on Tuesday May 19th 2026 from 1-2PM from where the funeral service will take place at 2PM in the Country Haven Chapel with Major Brian Wheeler officiating. Cremation to follow. No flowers by request. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the WMRH Hospital Foundation designated to the (Corner Brook Long Term Care).
