October 30, 1949 – March 10, 2022
We, the family of the late Wince Anderson, would like to express our thanks and appreciation to all, for the kindness, love and support shown to us during this difficult time. Your phone calls, online condolences, cards, flowers, donations and gifts of food were greatly appreciated. Your presence at the funeral home meant a lot. Also, thank you to those who visited him during his illness. He appreciated each visit and was always happy to see you.
We would like to personally thank Dr. Slipp & Dr. Brazil for your compassionate and genuine care for him during his illness. Thank you to the nurses of the Palliative Care Unit of the Western Long-Term Care who showed him compassion during his stay. You were all amazing. Also, thank you to the HIS Fire Department for your tribute to Wince and your thoughtfulness.
Finally, thank you to Rev. Deacon Karen Loder, the readers, and to the staff of Country Haven funeral home for giving him a wonderful send off.

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gordon "Wince" Anderson announce his passing at Western Long Term, Palliative Care Unit, on Thursday, March 10th, 2022 at the age of 72 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife Karen of 49 years; son, Jamie Anderson (Kim); his 3 precious granddaughters, Ashley, Reana and Samantha and special sister-in-law, Carol Peddle. Also, leaving to mourn, brother, Wayne Anderson (Helen); sisters, Annie Stone, Isabel Pender, Judy Gordon (Scott), Daphne Anderson Parsons (Rick) and Betty Shepherd (Barry); his brother and sister in laws, Gerald Peach, Vermont Peddle & Pat Wilton, Roy (Roseanne) Peddle, Wayne Peddle & Sandra Sparkes, Wanda Peddle & Vieng Sayavong and Sandra (Kevin) Drover and mother-in-law, Sophie Peddle. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends, especially Brad Nolan & Clarence Sheppard and his fellow brothers and sisters of the HIS Fire Department.
Gordon was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Victoria Anderson; sisters, Margaret Waggstaff and Blanche Peach; brothers-in-law, Murdock Stone, Danny Pender, George Gordon & Chuck Waggstaff. As well as, his father-in-law, Richard Peddle.
As per Wince's wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation is scheduled to take place at Country Haven funeral home on Monday, March 14th, 2022 at 1:00pm, from where the funeral service will take place at 2:00pm, with Rev. Deacon Karen Loder officiating. Interment to take place at a later date. All expressions of sympathy, including flowers, honorary donations to the HIS Fire Department and cards are welcome.
