It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gladys Jean Robbins (Nee. Martin) announce her passing on Sunday, September 3rd 2023 at the age of 96 years old. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter Sandi (Richard Dickey). Son Bruce (Angela). Grandchildren; Melissa (Bob Hepler), Melanie Dickey, Beth Robbins, Claire Robbins and Benjamin Robbins (Kristen Hume). Great-grandchildren; Spencer Hepler, Jack Goulding, Noah Goulding, Athena Robbins and Alexander D'orazio. Brothers-in-law; Gerry Wright, Leonard Davis and David Ellis as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Gladys was predeceased her Husband Jack Robbins (2002). Parents Leslie and Gladys Martin. Brothers; Robert (Ruby) and Ross. Sisters; Myra (Wilson), Ruby (Clyde), Margaret, Helen and Sheri. Special sister-in-law Wavey Winsor. Jean was born and raised and lived her whole life in Corner Brook. Jean was very independent, living in her own home until after her 90th birthday. The family wishes to extend a thank you to the staff of the bay St. George long term care (North) for Jeans care in the final few weeks. There will be no formal visitation or funeral service at this time. There will be a graveside interment service on Wednesday, September 6th, 2023 at 12:30 at Mount Patricia Cemetery with Major Brian Wheeler officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to the Corner Brook SPCA.
